It is my belief that the government is in place to serve the people.   There shouldn't be any spending or legislation done without full disclosure to the public.  Let the people decide on how their tax dollars are being spent. So when government officials secure these discretionary or slush funds to facilitate their own needs and the Mayor and City Council decide to extend term limits it’s time for the public to say enough. All these backdoor deals and blatant disregard for the peoples’ opinion cannot continue.

Full disclosure of city spending
 
Legislation should be posted no less than 72 hours before city council vote

City council members should have itemized list of all discretionary funds spent
